RBC to conduct the 1st first national survey of the AIDS Indicator and HIV Incidence
Kigali, Monday 17th June 2013, Rwanda Biomedical Center (RBC) is organising the first national survey on the AIDS Indicator and HIV Incidence scheduled to kick off Monday June 17th, 2013.
Being the first time such a study is conducted in the country, the survey will serve as baseline HIV-1 incidence data from cohort study will generate a real figure of the HIV/AIDS epidemic dynamics in Rwanda

Kirehe residents urged to fight Malaria
Kirehe, June 11, 2013 Kirehe residents have been asked to fight malaria and to stop confusing Malaria with witchcraft, thus slowing down the fight against the disease.
The message was contained in a mobile video projected by Urunana DC, the prominent partner of the Rwanda Biomedical Centre in the fight against Malaria during a community sensitization in Kirehe District.

Belgian Minister Hails Rwanda efforts to boost health
Kigali, Thursday June 13th 2013, The Belgium Minister for Public Enterprises and Development Cooperation Jean-Pascal Labille has hailed the country for its efforts to boost health ; one of the key indicators he says will make Rwanda achieve its vision 2020.
