MISSION
The core mission of the Rwanda Biomedical Center’s Medical Procurement and Production Departmentis to put at the disposal of all people living in Rwanda drugs and medical equipment
OBJECTIVES
The Medical Procurement and Production Department missionis beingachieved through the key following objectives :
1. To Boost local production of essential medicines
2. To align the pharmaceuticals production capacity to the procurement needs
3. Income generation through supply chain management
4. Quality assurance of for medical and Laboratory commodities
STRUCTURE (COMPOSITION)
The Medical Procurement and Production Department is composed mainly by three following divisions :
• The Medical Procurement and Distribution Division
• The Medical Production Division and
• The National Center for Blood Transfusion Division
