Rwanda has celebrated the International day against drug abuse and illicit drug trafficking in Kirehe district, Eastern Province. The celebrations which took place on June 22 2017 were marked by a march against drug abuse, testimonies of former drug addicts. Illicit drugs worth nine million seven hundred five thousand were destroyed Rwf 9705000 m. internationally, the International day against drug abuse happens on 26 June, annually.
